June 24, 2000 - Is your dream woman really out there somewhere? Yes.

Kat by Lеаnnе Bеll

Drеаm Wоmаn

I've been thinking a lot lately about what I would say to myself if I could travel back in time to when I was 15 years old. I wonder what have I learned that would be worth passing on? What advice would I give myself? And would I listen?

Today I want to tell my 15-year-old self, and any other 15-year old who is willing to listen, the single most important thing you're likely to care to hear, and that is: your dream woman is real. And she is the single most important woman you'll ever know.

Unlike girlfriends who come and go, your dream woman is there all year 'round. In autumn, she's every smiling girl in a big knitted sweater. In the summer she's every girl wearing cut off jeans. In the spring she's every flower you can't give her. And in winter her shape is buried under every snow drift.

There may be other women in your life. Your dream woman is there in their absence. You may wake in the morning to feel a pair of feminine legs in the bed beside yours. Hers were the ones in your dreams that night.

Your dream woman is the sexiest woman in the world, and the most inspiringly beautiful. She's your Madonna and your whore. She is the one who makes you want to yank your cock. And she's the one who makes you want to stop. She's the one who makes you want better for yourself.

You may get married. A wife is a reflection of a man's value. But your dream girl is the measure of your real worth even before you have accomplished anything. That's because as a standard you have set for yourself she is a reflection of your estimates of your own ability, drive and worth. Thus your dream woman represents your potential more accurately that any SAT, athletic scholarship or IQ test. She is the mark of a man who thinks, and values ideas, a man who wants to be moral and good and decent. It is the sign that this man wants the best he can find in a woman because he feels he is capable of being the best kind of man, which he wants desperately to be.

But what of the cute girl who sits beside you in science lab? Couldn't she be your dream girl? Perhaps. But not likely. Remember this: somewhere your dream girl is hoping you will wait for her, watching you, cheering you on to all the bravest most brilliant achievements you have in you. She always has. She always will. If the cute girl beside you behaves the way I just described, then she is your dream girl. If not, she probably isn't.

It could be some time before you find her, but don't worry about loneliness. You will get used to rarified air, acclimatize like a mountain climber in a painfully thin atmosphere.

You will not have to wait forever for your dream girl, that is, unless you wait forever to make yourself into her dream guy. It is your passion in life that will eventually attract your dream girl, that will convince her to take on physical human form just for you. So pursue your passion, not women. Make your dreams come true, and your dream woman will come with them.

How do I know? Because by pursuing my unique vision I've found my dream woman. Today's photo proves it. My dream woman is the one who took this photo. She's the one who wears my sweaters, brings her legs to bed, and who, right this moment, is smiling at me.
