gODDESS - A modern day beauty miracle

Back in 1992, Supermodels like Cіndy Crаwfоrd, Lаеtіtіа Cаstа and Stеphаnіе Sеymоυr had taken women's fashion to unprecedented levels of beauty, popularity, and nudity. For the first time in history, fashion itself was in fashion. Everyone was talking about it, celebrities were flocking to it, designers and models became household names.

Unfortunately, the world responded to this by mocking it and ignoring it. Almost immediately grunge became the new wave in fashion, anti-beauty was all the rage. 'Heroin chic' became the new household word. And nudity, ah nudity, that playful kitten in our soul, became the gnarled and hunched familiar of the witches and goblins of the increasingly vulgar and obscure fashion world that followed.

Instead of worshipping the beauty that had made nudity possible and admirable, the world closed its eyes to it, and would begin to see it as depraved and dirty only.

Today this trend continues as the governments of the world rush to illegalize female beauty in all its various forms. If you don't know what I mean, you haven't been paying attention to the news, or this website.

That's why it's so surprising that Brіghаm Fіеld has just created a website that features fashion quality models in glossy, edgy, tasteful, and above all modern photographic images. 12 years after nudity had become acceptible in womens' fashion, 10 years after it had been rejected as depraved, Brіghаm Fіеld has brought back fashion-based images of beautiful models in the nude, continuing right where fashion had left off all those years ago.

I think it's a miracle. How else can you explain it? A miracle is something that happens with no warning, no causes, and no history. You do not create a miracle over time building on what's come before, you cannot make one happen by following rules or filling requirements or building on other's work. Quite the contrary, miracles happen against all odds, in spite of all reason or precedent.

This is exactly how gODDESS was created. It is not a copy of someone else's work - it is wildly original, it does not follow safe and predictable rules - its every passion follows beauty, and it doesn't stick to tired trends - it creates something glorious out of nothing.

To continue the metaphor created by the site, gODDESS is holy water, crimson wine for our redemption, the luscious liquid of life. gODDESS gives us the rarest thing in life: a chance to touch the divine, to look upon something perfect and pure and holy: the beauty of the human female, and to respond the way we've all needed to for so long, with awe and joyous rapture.

gODDESS takes back the words and feelings that have been monopolized for far too long by religion: reverence, awe, worship, exctasy, rapture, glory. gODDESS makes these emotions and concepts available and enjoyable to those of us living on earth, in the real world, through the goddesses it creates on film.

Of course, not everyone agrees. In fact, a great many do not. Millions, perhaps billions are opposed to Man experiencing any sublime and inspiring emotions about human beings.

Fashion, nudity and the beauty of the human female were crucified by such people back in 1992.

gODDESS is the ressurrection.
