Thе Spіrіt of America

My first emotional reaction to the Wоrld Trаdе Center jet-bombing was the urge to go to Nеw Yоrk right then and there and to start rebuilding with my bare hands. For me, it had been Man's ability to create such things as the WTC towers that had been visciously attacked.

Then, when I received an email from the Qυеnt Cоrdаіr Fіnе Art Gallery featuring the latest painting by one of their most brilliant artists, I had another emotional reaction, which consisited of 'THAT'S IT!'. Entitled A Nеw Hеіght (click here), completed weeks before the attack at the WTC, gloriously captures the proper spirit of America, a spirit that perhaps some had failed to properly appreciate, until now. It is the spirit of an ubridled enthusiasm for life and for our own worth. It is the spirit which created the WTC towers in the first place; it is the spirit for which it was destroyed.
