Women in caves. Something about them. From prehistoric neanderthals to Freud and his train tunnels, women keep getting paired in our imaginations and our mythologies with caves. We're not sure why nude women don't appear more in early cave paintings. That's what we would have drawn. Happily, we have the modern art of digital photography to capture the beauties that haunt our imaginations, like Deirdre. The female body is an elemental force, no doubt about that. Men in every age knew it, thought about it, painted it, and theorized about it. Every age that, is, except ours. Today the sentiments popular just about everywhere are that female beauty is an irrelevant superficiality and genetic relic. But not here at Body in Mind. To us, nothing could be more important and thought-provoking than the sight of a beautiful young woman nude, cradled in the rock solid curves of our beloved mother earth.
