Mоthеr's Dаy

There's an episode of the Simpson's in which all the men in Springfield begin frequenting a strip club and Marge catches Homer there. Realizing he's been caught, Homer then fakes a change of heart and gives an impromptu speech to the other men admonishing them for admiring the strippers saying that women are not just sex objects but that they're also our mothers, daughters, wives, and sisters. All the men cheer his speech, snub the strippers, and leave.

This idea is a common sentiment: the idea that women are more than just bodies. But aren't strippers women too? Aren't they more than just bodies? Aren't they also our mothers, daughters, sisters or wives?

Of course they are!

And unless you're Hоmеr Sіmpsоn, this is a reason to respect them even more, not less.
