On Jυly 7, 1969, when men first landed on the moon, a certain commentator wondered what was more amazing, that a man had walked on the moon, or that, thanks to television, everyone on earth had been there with him!

Tomorrow, on February 3, 1998, the most beautiful women in the world will land in Nеw Yоrk City in order to take off their clothes and walk down a runway in their underwear.

That's right, it's the 3rd annual Vіctоrіа's Sеcrеt Fаshіоn Shоw, which will take place at the Pаrk Plаzа Hotel in Nеw Yоrk City at 7 pm.

Know what? I've decided to attend.

According to Pаtrіck O'Connell, the show's publicist, supermodels Stеphаnіе Sеymоυr, Kаrеn Mυldеr and Nаоmі Cаmpbеll are confirmed for the show, but ALL the Vіctоrіа's Sеcrеt Angels, as well as other regulars are expected.

There's only two problems.

The first is that it's by invitation only and I wasn't invited.

The second is that 3 different women from the firm in charge called separately to deny my request for a press pass for the show, each citing a different reason why it was not possible, which means it wasn't impossible at all.

Too bad. As I told Patrick, the Vіctоrіа's Sеcrеt Fаshіоn Shоw is the most amazing thing ever accomplished by man.

Oh well. The syndicated CITY TV program, Fаshіоn Tеlеvіsіоn, will probably cover it well. They have for the last two years anyway. The show is notable and commendable for their willingness to let us see whatever degrees of nudity happen to adorn many fashion runways these days. Such coverage of this wonderful lack of coverage is ground breaking for this part of the world.

"Even greater than putting men on the moon?", Patrick had asked.

"Absolutely," I'd replied.

Actually I often wonder whats more amazing, the fact that thanks to Vіctоrіа's Sеcrеt the most beautiful women in the world are now walking down runways half naked, or that thanks to Fаshіоn Tеlеvіsіоn we can ALL be there to watch it!
