Study claims men find women more attractive in winter
October 29, 2008 - A recent university study has found that men find women's bare bodies more attractive in winter.
Wrоclаw Unіvеrsіty of Poland conducted a study of 114 men, who were asked to rate photos of women at differing times of the year. Throughout a period covering 5 seasons, the men were shown photos of women in black bathing suits, bare breasts of different sizes and young women's faces.
Bodies and breasts were rated most attractive in autumn and winter, least in summer. There was no seasonal variation when it came to rating the faces, which the researchers believe is due to women's faces being on display all year long.
"Since in summer men are much more often exposed to more uncovered women's bodies than in winter, our prediction was that stimuli presented to men in summer will be assessed as less attractive than the same stimuli presented to the same men in winter" the researchers concluded.
We believe that anytime men are deprived of beauty they're going to long for it more than usual.
