Bеttіе Pаgе dies at 85
December 12, 2008 - 1950's pin up Bеttіе Pаgе has died in Lоs Angеlеs after suffering a heart attack nine days ago.
She had been hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia, and was about to be released when she had the heart attack, her agent said.
Hυgh Hefner said of her "I think that she was a remarkable lady, an iconic figure in pop culture who influenced sexuality, taste in fashion, someone who had a tremendous impact on our society. She was a very dear person."
In the later years of her life, Bettie distanced herself from her nude photography and became a devout Christian, but her contribution to the world won't soon be forgotten.
