Two female Olympians defend their bodies
The original Olympіc Gаmеs celebrated the strength and spirit of the human body, and to that end the participants were always naked. In this age of hysteria over the naked human form, it's a pleasure to hear that two female Olympians, who while not completely naked have posed for SI's swimsuit issue and are unapologetic about it.
According to snowboarder Hаnnаh Tеtеr "I was really amped up to do that because I don't believe in the ciminalization of bodies and women having to be ashamed of their bodies. That's just so wrong"
US skiier Lіndsеy Vоnn also has the right attitude towards the body. "I'm ok with nudity. I'm ok with people bein naked. There shouldn't be a huge deal made about it. People in tribal nations walk around naked and they don't have bad thigs goin on sexually because it's ok. It's not suppressed. People don't freak out like they do in the US."
Way to go ladies!
